n Fast Lunch Box is Australia's leading company preparing
and delivering nutritionally fresh school lunches, direct
to your school.
And just in time too, as the new health standards and
a decline in volunteer mothers places increasing stress
on the traditional school canteen.
Fresh n Fast Lunch Box provide mothers with a break
from the daily preparation of school lunches - whether
this be everyday or just once a week. It also provides
the kids with a change. However, in many cases mothers
have had this service taken away or had to accept they
have to trade health for convenience.
Without the school canteen, kids could be filling
up on junk food with all its sugar, fat and salt. It
is a fact that children eat many more "special occasion"
foods regularly and the 1350 kids convenient snack products
now seen on our supermarkets shelves, are often worse
for your child than you would imagine!
It is also becoming increasingly evident that the long-term
effects of a poor diet are significant. So significant
in fact, that 25% of all children in Australia are now
classified as overweight or obese which has resulted
in an alarming increase in diabetes and cardiovascular
disease at a much younger age.
Fresh n Fast Lunch Box is focussed on good balanced
nutrition and provides lunches for your children that
you would love to if you had the time everyday! We also
understand children need to be kept interested and as
part of the program we will continually innovate to
ensure your children are surprised and delighted. They
will look forward to lunchtime and opening their cardboard
(recyclable of course) lunch boxes packed with good
fresh food and fun things!
How It Works
Your school can join into our school program. Once
your school has joined, you will be sent a starter pack
which will include further detail on the program as
well as the school code which you will need to place
an order.
How To Order
In order to make things as easy as possible, we would
like parents to place their orders via the
Fresh n Fast Lunch Box web site.
Orders should be placed by following the prompts from
the Ordering menu. Orders can be placed for a day, a
week, a month or even for the full term. It's really
quite simple! For orders that have been placed for more
than a day, you are not locked into your choice. You
can alter the options within your meal right up until
9pm the night before delivery.
For those parents who would rather order and pay manually,
we will have an assigned mother at your school in the
morning taking orders and then placing them with us
on your behalf.
Once your order is placed and paid for all you have
to do is wait for the delicious fresh lunches to be
delivered to your school.
Our Lunch Boxes
Fresh n Fast Lunch Box started with the Nutrition Australia
guidelines for children and the Healthy Eating Pyramid
and developed four menus with a selection of lunch options
for each item. These menus take into account the different
age and nutritional requirements of your child.
The Junior Lunch Box is designed for the younger child
with smaller portion sizes.
The Kiwi Lunch Box and the Green Lunch Box have both
been designed for middle primary school age children.
They offer more selections and the Green Lunch Box also
offers larger portion sizes.
At the other end of the scale, the Big Lunch Box has
been designed for the older very hungry child whose
appetite is insatiable!
All of the packs are prepared fresh each morning for
maximum nutritional value, including the fresh bakery
items so they contain no artificial colours and preservatives
seen in many convenience foods.
